Hi, I'm Helo
I don't have a niche.
I have seasons.
Some seasons my husband and I are sailing the Caribbean. Some we're RVing. Some we're traveling through Europe. Lately it's paint swatches and contractors who are "coming Tuesday." Through all of it I'm doing my makeup in tiny spaces and laughing at myself, usually in whatever language comes out first.
A little about me
I grew up in Brazil, moved to the US as a teenager, and somewhere along the way picked up English, Spanish and Italian. America is a melting pot, after all, so thank you to the friends who taught me their languages along the way (college helped me polish them). Now I split my time between Miami and Puerto Rico.
I've spent most of my career in front of a camera, and sometimes on a stage. I've worked in TV (HBO Brazil, Univision, NBC Telemundo, TV Azteca and América TeVé), acted in the movie Open My Eyes and in several plays, was crowned Miss Brazil USA and Miss Hawaiian Tropic, studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration, which comes in handy more often than I expected. These days I make content for brands, and for myself, too.
